1. When replacing the keyless unit, perform the following procedure:
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Remove the front side trim. (See FRONT SIDE TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION.)
4. Remove the nut and clip.
5. Remove the connector clip installed to the bracket by shifting the keyless unit downward.
6. Disconnect the keyless unit connector.
7. Push the stopper with a small screwdriver and remove the bracket in the direction shown by the arrow.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.

5. Remove the connector clip installed to the bracket by shifting the keyless unit downward.

7. Push the stopper with a small screwdriver and remove the bracket in the direction shown by the arrow.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
