ID number data in the PCM and the keyless unit do not match.

DTC: B2139/P1260

DETECTION CONDITION

• ID number data in the keyless unit and the PCM are different.

POSSIBLE CAUSE

• Necessary procedures were not performed using the WDS after replacing the PCM.
• Keyless unit malfunction
• PCM malfunction

VERIFY DTC USING WDS
• Are either U1900 or U0073, or both, displayed, by either the keyless unit or the PCM, or both.
Yes
Perform troubleshooting according to the corresponding DTC inspection.
No
Go to the next step.

• Perform procedures for when replacing the PCM only.
• Using the registered key, turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
• Is the DTC displayed?
– SECURITY LIGHT: 23
– WDS: B2139/P1260
Yes
• Replace the keyless unit and perform procedures for when replacing the keyless unit only.
• Go to the next step.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.

• Are any or all of the following DTCs displayed again?
– SECURITY LIGHT: 23
– WDS: B2139/P1260
Yes
• Replace the PCM and perform procedures for when replacing the PCM only.
No
DTC troubleshooting completed.
